Viet Nam''s national football team has jumped 18 places from No 143 to No 125 in the rankings for March, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced.
Viet Nam will be in group E at the 2015 Asian Cup''s qualifier after a draw yesterday in Melbourne, Australia.The team will play the UAE, Uzbekistan and Hong Kong, teams which are considered to have similar skill levels.
Viet Nam have jumped six places to 140 in the FIFA October world rankings.The country remains second in the Southeast Asia region behind Thailand, who fell from 131st to 139th.
